LaTasha Ward
LaTasha Ward is a seasoned business professional and entrepreneur who has more than 18 years of expertise in the fields of Marketing and Management. She is the CEO and Founder of three independent ventures, JKL Promotional Products, Christian Business Exchange, and JKL Enterprises, LLC. She began JKL Promotional Products in 1998 to present and market the professional image and brand awareness of new and emerging Christian business owners. Through her company’s efforts, she has helped generate sales and revenues for business owners both locally and nationally. She later formed Christian Business Exchange in
December 2008 to provide a medium for Christian business owners to network and share their products, services, contacts, information and their resources which has aided in their ability to turn those referrals into revenue. The networking group has grown exponentially from just 30 business owners to more than 150. In 2009, she formed JKL Enterprises, LLC to manage the different internet businesses that she owns and operates.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, LaTasha worked for 10 years in the Arlington County Court Services Unit. In that capacity, she managed an at-risk youth program, Girl’s Outreach Program. While working a “regular job”, she became an independent travel agent and network marketer. She excelled quickly in the business, that on March 16, 2007 she was able to resign from her “regular job” and became a National Sales Director for Your Travel Business. Amongst her accomplishments she has generated over $699,000 per year in revenue while managing a part-time sales force throughout the nation. She has mentored, coached, and trained 1,200 agents. LaTasha has also garnered high acclaim in the travel business earning $10,000 in bonuses thereby replacing her “regular paycheck” of $75,000 in less than 6 months.
LaTasha holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, NJ in Marketing and Business Management. LaTasha currently resides in Washington, DC with her daughter. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, networking, and supporting her church, Jericho City of Praise.
